The infected person has been hospitalised at an Osaka Precture hospital.

There were no children among the people who had been in close contact with the person.

There were no children among the people who had been in close contact with the person.

Minoh residents should continue to take actions to avoid infection, such as covering your mouth/nose when coughing/sneezing, and carefully washing your hands.

In order to not be mislead by unreliable information, please act calmly and follow the information provided by the City and prefectural and national governments.

  1. Check your symptoms and do the following
    ・If you have cold-like symptoms and/or a fever of 37.5℃ or more for 4 days or more
    ・If you have strong feelings of weariness (fatigue) or shortness of breath (difficulty breathing)
    ・If you have had the above symptoms for 2 days or more and are a senior citizen, have an underlying disease (such as diabetes, heart problems, COPD etc.), or are pregnant

Information about Cancellation and Postponement of City Run Events

With the spread of the coronavirus, in principal, all city run events are cancelled until further notice.

Outline

Due to the spread of the coronavirus, all Minoh City run events will be cancelled until further notice (classes for citizens, seminars, information sessions etc.). The participation fee for these events will be refunded in full. Also, for organizations that will be cancelling their events and had booked public facilities, the usage cost of these facilities will be refunded in full.

Free Masks for Pregnant Women

Target: Pregnant women who want masks and live in Minoh (includes those who have returned to Minoh in order to give birth)

Amount: 20 masks per person

Health Checkups for Infants and Young Children (4 months old, 1 and a half years old, 3 and a half years old)

In order to stop the spread of the coronavirus health checkups for infants will begin again from March.
When they restart, reception and examinations will be conducted with care.
Those who are supposed to undertake these examinations will be notified of examination dates via post.

For Those Moving Out of Minoh City

If you are unable to come to the City Office when moving out of Minoh City, you can post your Moving Out Notification to us. In order to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, please consider using this system.

After we have received the mailed items, we will send you a Certificate of Moving Out in your self addressed stamped envelope.
If you are enrolled in National Health Insurance, receive the Child Allowance, or are qualified for long-term care, please be aware that there are additional moving out procedures for each.

If you have a My Number card, please be aware that after handing in your Moving Out Notification you must complete moving in procedures elsewhere, or your My Number card will automatically expire 60 days after the date of moving written on your application form.

1. A self addressed stamped envelope (Please write your name and address on an envelope, and attach a \84 stamp to it.)
2. Postal Application Form for Moving Out Certificate (English)(PDF:61KB) (Japanese)
3. A copy of a document proving your identity
(such as a residence card, Japanese driver's license, health insurance card, Japanese passport, My Number Card (only the front side), or a Basic Resident Registration card)

Extension of Application for Financial Year 2020 Municipal and Prefectural Tax Declaration

The application period for the FY2020 Municipal and Prefectural Tax Declaration has been extended from 16 March to 16 April.

In order to prevent coronavirus infection, please send in your declaration by post. For details of how to complete the declaration, please follow this link( External link ). (Japanese only) (You can also download the declaration form)

You can still submit your declaration at City Office, however it may be extremely crowded.
If you submit your declaration at City Office, please bring your "My Number Card" or "My Number notification card" as well as documents proving your identity (such as a drivers license or something that includes a photo of you. If you do not have a document with a picture, you must bring 2 documents (health insurance card, pension handbook etc.)).

For tax declarations received from Tuesday 17 March onward, please be aware that there may not be time for proper calculation of your municipal/prefectural tax, insurance, and Taxation Certificate. (In this case, the amounts will be fixed at a later date and you will be notified.)
As the City, we will do our best to avoid this happening, however we still ask that you send in your tax declaration as soon as possible.

 Emergency Fund for the Response to the Coronavirus Disease

For small and medium scale businesses operating in Minoh City whose business is affected by the coronavirus, certificates to apply for the emergency fund are now being issued.
