When you call the Telephone Consultation Service for Foreign Workers, you will be charged 8.5 yen (incl. tax) per 180 seconds from landlines, or 10 yen (incl. tax) per 20 seconds from cellphones.

The Labor Standards Advice Hotline is a commissioned service entrusted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. The hotline offers general advice when the Prefectural Labor Bureaus and Labor Standards Inspection Offices are closed or on weekends and holidays. Foreign language support is available.
