If you are bringing up children who have not yet graduated from high school in Japan, you can receive this allowance. Please contact the Desk for Early Childhood for details.

Please apply within 15 days of the birth of your child, or of moving to Minoh.

 Medical Subsidies for Single Parents

In single parent households with National Health Insurance or company health insurance, both the child and the person raising them can receive medical subsidies until the last day of the financial year in which the child turns 18 years old.

If you show a Medical Subsidies Certificate for Single Parents (published by Minoh City) along with a health insurance certificate at a hospital, their medical fees will decrease.

You may not be able to receive the Medical Subsidies Certificate for Single Parents depending on your income level, etc. Please contact the Long-Term Care Insurance, Medical Subsidies And Pension Division for details.
