There are various services to support elderly people (including nursing care insurance and general welfare service) to live their own life in the area that they are accustomed to.

People aged 60 years or older can take part in various activities, recreation, physical exercises and so on, at the Welfare Center for the Elderly called the Ina Fureai Center.
